Where the Sun Finds Us

This oil painting is very special.

I wanted to create a whimsical world where a snail is seen carrying a departed soul to its resting place. But it isn't sad.

Although it can often feel dark or look scary, the sunshine touches everything, every soul, and it reminds us that even in transit, those who remember the good things about us long after keep us alive. Becoming immortal. At least, that is what was meant by this painting.  It is always up for interpretation.
